Why are the illustrations so simple?
It is a thoughtful choice that leaves more room for your child’s imagination and helps keep home printing ink-friendly. We use plenty of black and white, simple outlines and open space instead of large background images that use lots of ink. Children can choose colors, add their own details and picture the adventure in their minds, without every detail being decided for them. Children also need time and space to wonder, explore and think for themselves. Luna offers gentle starting points for creating, with fewer ready-made visual details and more room for their own ideas. Easy to print, full of possibilities.
